First-hours decision tree
- Read the exact active objective. Note the named person, item, workstation, technology, or day symbol. Search that wording rather than trying unrelated chores.
- Clear the concrete blocker first. If it names a material or station, start with iron, Polished Bronze, or the Formulation Bench.
- I am blocked by a church or currency requirement. Separate Faith and sermons from Town Gratitude; they are connected but not interchangeable.
- I am blocked by an order hand-in. Follow the warehouse delivery and collection cycle, including the launch-build warning about depositing before collection day.
- I am blocked by alchemy or a quest device. Check the rune research loop, then use the specific Hypno Device instructions when that objective appears.
- Automation can wait until its prerequisites are visible. When a worker is idle, use the Zombie troubleshooting checklist for tools, mastery, assignments, inputs, and output space.
