The developer announced immediate plans for upcoming updates on October 2. These are planned changes, not confirmation that the mechanics are already available. No release dates, platform schedule, or exact balance values are provided.

Planned changes — not yet confirmed live

• The number of gears zombies provide for conveyor belts will be increased (both with and without perk).
• Faith granted for the sermons will be increased.
• Already constructed workstations will be movable.
• Zombie-helpers will gather crafted resources and restart crafts in Kilns and Furnaces.
• Zombie-farmers will be able to collect Peat and start new crafts at Compost Heaps
• The Panic Reduction system will be reworked.
• The number of order slots will increase with the population.
• Trader upgrades will be rebalanced and simplified.
• Hypno-devices will be rechargeable through the Astrologer.
• Cremation for zombies will be implemented.

What is already released?

The announcement separately identifies Update 1.008 for PC as the recent patch, with vendor trades, delivery requirements, and perk changes. It does not say the future changes above shipped in 1.008.
